Samsung is Increasing Sales and Profit
Samsung continues with steady growth in the market. Smart phones and tablets are significant contributors of their growth.

Samsung is continuously increasing the sales and profit. Thanks to very good sales of Android based smart phones, Samsung was able to report very good business results in last quarter of 2012.
The Samsung reported $3,56 billion of profit. This is 8,5% more than in 2011. At same time the revenue grew by 13%, reaching the $42,15 billion. This growth was greatly based on sales of smart phones. The biggest contribution is the Galaxy family of smart phones.
The sales in other business segments were good as well. The sales of monitors, TVs, components and other electronic devices also contributed to increase of sales and profit.

Samsung forecasts that sales of smart phones will grow for further 30% in 2012. This will offset the decrease in segment of regular mobile phones. Also, Samsung expect the good results of tablet sales.
Despite the strong competition of Apple in segments of smart phones and tablets and multiple law suits from both sides, it seams that Samsung will continue with the growth in the market.
Samsung recognized the potential of Android platform, which help them in building market strategy. Samsung is also known as the company that is able to create strategies of building the products with good balance of price and abilities.
