The Team Mission Statement starts with a question: Who are your Customers? Internal and external. The team has the position of Supplier of product or Service to their customers. Of course the same team can be Supplier to one team or customer, but at same time can be a Customer of another Team or external Supplier. Example, Warehouse is supplier to Delivery and Sales, but at same time is Customer for Production as Internal Supplier and to external agency for renting forklifts to the same warehouse.

The Customer – Supplier relationship is a two-way process, meaning that Supplier is providing the service and product to Customer, at same time Customer provide needs for such service or product, as well as a feedback. Process must be completely closed and defined by Team Mission Statement, in order to be successful.

Team Mission Statement main process

Internal customers are departments or individuals within your company. There is a whole network of Supplier-Customer relationships. The external customers are Customers and Shareholders first of all, as well as government, agencies, ...
