A Formal Project Manager Or Scheduling Tool
Use some form of formal project management or
scheduling tool to help monitor a project’s
progress (e.g. time design, time file, manage-pro,
etc). Additionally,
if you have access to the Company’s system-wide
calendar program, learn the best and proper way of
using this tool and use it on a regular basis,
especially with respect to project teams.
Share
your calendar and schedule with your manager or
mentor on a regular basis, soliciting
recommendations on how you might be able too more
effectively plan and monitor a project.
Write
a Critique Goals
Practice
writing SMART goals (i.e. Specific, Measurable,
Achievable, Relevant, and Time Bound) for each of
your future projects.
Critique your current project plans to ensure
that existing goals meet these criteria.
Provide feedback and coaching to your
