Merchandising is the process of effective arrangement of products in the place of sales with the purpose of enhancing the sales from that point. Merchandising involveds activities that have a purpose to promote product or product category.
Merchandising generally involves both in-store and outside store activities that promote a product, including pricing, assortment, product placement, signage, displays, etc.
