Forward Stock – Stock in the outlet placed in the shopping area, on the shelves. This stock is accessible to shoppers...

This is the value of all the stock has left the supplier warehouse, but before reaching the consumer. The most common definition is the value of the total stock held within an outlet, either back of store or on the fixture, but depending on route to market you may include Wholesalers or Distributors stock as forward stock.
